I have lived in New Hampshire for most of my life… (Other then the year I lived in New York City)… I have a pre-teen who at times tests my ability to think straight and also tests my mental health status… Yes there are days I dream of a vacation at the State mental hospital 🙂 but I love every minute of it!
My dream is to live in an old farm-house with many areas around me to do what I wish with… But for the time period I have about 2 areas of land in which have attempt to have a mini farm.. 14 chickens, 1 rooster, and as of today 2 bee hives that did not make it though the winter… There are more animals that live inside our home then people… (2 dogs, 3 cats and a guinea pig) And yes, I almost (almost), came home with 2 baby ducks this past weekend…. But that’s beside the point….
We enjoy being outside in nature… Love the spring, summer and fall seasons… despite living in NH we are not skiers and have not found anything we really enjoy doing outside in this season… sledding at times yes, but that is about it… I think this has to do with the fact that I hate being cold… I love all four seasons here (love the winter from the inside of a warm house :-))
